Books have been set forth on this matter, and the conflict and discussion about where the "hot" slot games are positioned in a casino are still ongoing – more than 60 yrs after the slot machines were first placed in the casinos.

The quintessential rule is that the superior slot games were positioned just inside the main doorway of the casino; so that casino fanatics going by would see jackpot winners and be enticed to come unto the gaming floor and play. Our standpoint is that this is definitely no longer the case.
