Modern casino slot machine games are controlled by a computer, and the winning percentages are preprogrammed into the gaming software.
Casino slot machine games have Random Number Generators which are endlessly generating combos, even when the slot machine is not currently being played.
Running concurrently with the random # generator of the casino one-armed bandit is the pay out percentage.
The pay out percentage controls just how much the one-armed bandit will pay out, for example the payout percentage could be ninety percent, meaning the slot machine game will pay ninety per cent of all the wagers played, … the casino only gets to keep 10%.
This does not mean that each time you bet 10 credits you will receive 9 in return – where’s the fun … exhilaration in that? Instead, the casino slot machine game won’t payout for a while, and then suddenly go on a hot streak and you might draw the big top prize.
The payout percentages most likely will vary between the assorted games and several of the very established casinos, for e.g Golden Online Casino, which provides a payment of up to ninety five per cent!
So, in essence, the slot machine game takes all the currency played into it and pays it out to several chosen winners. The casino only gets to keep a relatively petite percent of all the odds placed.
The casino slot machine software controls each and every part of the machine, from the flickering lights to the rotating of the reels.
When you hit spin on the slot machine, a combination is formed by the RNG which is linked to the pictures on the reel.
